Dennis Deng
Hi, I’m Dennis, a Technical Artist and Gameplay Developer with a BSc in Interactive Arts and Technology from Simon Fraser University and a Game Design diploma from Vancouver Film School. My work bridges art and engineering through Unity, shader development, gameplay systems, VFX, and hybrid 2D/3D production pipelines.
I enjoy building stylized interactive experiences where visuals, systems, and player feedback work together. Through projects such as Gemini and Paper Samurai, I’ve worked across technical art, gameplay implementation, visual effects, animation support, and Unity-based production, turning creative ideas into playable and readable game experiences.
My game portfolio focuses on the intersection of technical problem-solving and visual communication. From shader effects and pixel-stylized rendering to AI-assisted asset workflows and gameplay feedback systems, I’m interested in creating game experiences that support atmosphere, storytelling, and player understanding.
Feel free to explore my game portfolio to see my journey in building expressive, stylized, and technically supported interactive experiences.
